Artists in Conversation

The liquid blackness project aims to create a space to experiment with audacious methodologies for the formal analysis of blackness in contemporary visual and sonic arts and popular culture at the intersection between the politics and ethics of aesthetics. The art and artists we study explore this intersection and, through image-making, dance, music, archiving, and curation,  practice their own forms of black study.
